RYAN SMITH—A Polished Palate

My name is Ryan Smith and I live in beautiful Charleston, SC with my husband Whit and our cat Monster. I was born and raised in South Carolina and have a love for the Lowcountry. Working in the retail cookware industry over the past few years has increased my love for cooking. I am enthusiastic about food and entertaining, drawn to the world of fashion, and enlightened by travel. I have an obsession with pizza, enjoy a good glass of wine, and my guilty pleasure is reality TV. I joined the blogging world just a year ago and I couldn’t be more thrilled that I did!

STEVE RAMOS—Buildings Are Cool

You have probably seen Steve Ramos in the middle of King Street photographing a storefront or maybe you’ve noticed him staring at a ceiling detail at one of Charleston’s hottest new restaurants. This guy loves architecture and is passionate about all things design. As an architect with LS3P in Charleston, Steve’s primary focus is the design of commercial architecture in the heart of the city. His most recently completed project: The Spectator Hotel has been turning heads since its opening in July. In 2015, Steve began the blog, BuildingsAreCool.com, in which he shares his experiences with architecture, design and the never-ending task of renovating his home. The blog is heavily focused on the architecture of Charleston, both old and new. There has been speculation that Steve is already working on the followup: BuildingsAreReallyCool.com

MADISON MOOSE—The Southern Edge

Madison is a twenty-something creative who has forever had a love for all things fashion related. After obtaining a business degree in Marketing, she didn't feel as though she had built a strong enough resume to enter the fashion industry fresh out of school, so from that, The Southern Edge was born. Now you will find Madison working in production for fashion shows all over the country, or writing and editing for The Face Magazine. Her three year plan includes moving to New York City to work in the industry full time, as well as building The Southern Edge into an internationally known brand. When she's not working, Madison loves playing the guitar, trying out different restaurants and cafés, and anything that involves being outdoors.

Madison recently added New York Fashion Week, blogging about the experience daily on her site, The Southern Edge
