Kitschy Kunstchau: A Night of Art and Music

The Sparrow

Support your local scene at this event featuring some of Charleston's best street artists, including John Pundt, Patch Whisky, and Haley Hobeika. And don't forget to bring a crate of records because MJ12 wants to spin whatever's on your turntable on the reg. There will also be live music by local punks Hybrid Mutants and Wiggly Piggly, as well as Double H Dogs food truck.

Visual Arts Club Cheap Art Auction

For the art collector looking for Charleston's freshest artists, this event is for you. The CofC Visual Arts Club has invited a handful of previous and current student artists to auction off a few pieces in hopes of raising $1000 for this year's student exhibition.
 
 
Bamboozeled!

Tin Roof and Metronome Charleston bring you the second edition of this annual event, featuring local comedians paying homage (or the opposite of paying homage) to their comedic heroes by reprising a classic stand-up routine or creating a routine in the style of your favorite (or opposite of favorite) comics. This year the list includes Andrew Dice Clay, Doug Benson, Mitch Hedberg, Judy Tenuta, and many other comedy greats (or opposite of greats). Procceds benefit Camp Happy Days and operating costs for Metronome.

Brrr, y'all, this week has been cold! Pretend it's summer this Saturday with a double feature of great surf films, presented by Carolina Surf Brand and Mellow Mushroom. Come out for a craft beer on draught or a slice of your favorite pie and register for a giveaway that will benefit the Charleston Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation!
