Trend to Try: Spotted Wallpaper

I just about died when I saw this "Tanzania" spotted wallpaper (by Thibault)  in Chloe Magazine's reveal of interior designer Meredith Heron's office. It's difficult to tire of black and white, and this small-scale print by Thibaut is the perfect backdrop for added dimension and a bit of boldness without being overpowering. I'm especially liking it here with the overdyed Weaver & Loom rug and yellow accents. In fact, I'm having some serious work space envy with this entire office—the desk, the styled bookcase, and those striped curtains...

Some would say such a bold dizzying pattern is risky but it really works when offset by the
striped curtains and the right mix of traditional pieces like these Louis XVI chairs.

If you dig the wallcoverings, "Tanzania" is offered in fabric too!  Pillows, anyone?

Would you go with spotted prints in your home?
