No valentine this year? No problem! Here’s the opportunity for you to be a valentine for someone else.

Three years ago, the Tim Tebow Foundation started an event in honor of celebrating people with special needs. This event, a Night to Shine, is truly that. A night for each individual to shine at the prom and be the king and queen that they are.

On Friday, February 10, more than 300 churches worldwide will be hosting a Night to Shine prom. Thousands of prom goers will be celebrated with an unforgettable night of royal treatment.

The royal treatment consists of a red carpet arrival, friendly paparazzi, hair and makeup stations, floral stations, shoe-shining stations, limo rides, karaoke, and the most important part- dancing!

Churches in the Lowcountry that will be hosting proms include: First Baptist Church of Jedburg in Summerville, Praise Assembly of God in Beaufort, and Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant.

Know someone that would love to volunteer or attend this event? Check with individual churches on rules, requirements, and training sessions for attending.

You will not regret attending and seeing these beautiful people shine.
