Restaurant Week is among us and, as usual, some of Charleston’s finest establishments are offering up stellar deals! Unfortunately, there are only 12 days of this gastronomic affair which means even the most avid of diners can’t make it to them all. So we’ve rounded up the best options to guide you through Charleston’s Fall 2018 Restaurant Week. Bon Appetít!

Best Bang for Your Buck

CO - If you’re the kind of person who believes more is more, then this Restaurant Week selection is for you. CO is offering up four courses of Southeast Asian cuisine for $25. So go ahead, slurp up some pho with all the fixin’s and don’t feel guilty for adding the sake pairing for just $17!

Best Splurge

Hall’s Chophouse - Clocking in at $50 per person, with plenty of supplement options, Hall’s boasts the most expensive of the Restaurant Week menus. But, when you consider the fact that Hall's Chophouse still ranks as Trip Advisor’s 6th Best Restaurant in the Country, that, my friends, is worth the splurge.

Best New Restaurant

Revival – At less than three-months-old, Revival (downstairs at the Vendue Hotel, just next to The Drawing Room) has stormed the scene with its modern Southern provisions. They’re not pulling any punches when it comes to their inaugural Restaurant Week fare offering up a hearty three courses of appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Dare ya not to lick your plate!

Best Place You’ve Really Been Meaning To Try But Just Haven’t Gotten Around to it Yet

Blossom - How did I guess? Because I was in this camp myself not long ago. Now that I finally saddled my toosh up to that bar and had a meal (and maybe a cocktail or two, what of it?) listen to me closely: run, don’t walk, to take advantage of this awesome restaurant week deal. It’s easy to get wrapped up in all the “hottest,” “newest,” and “trendiest” places somewhere on Upper King, but this Charleston stand-by will remind us all to take a few more trips south of Meeting Street to dine.

Best Place to Go for a First Date

The Establishment - Ok so we can probably all agree that taking someone on a first date during Restaurant Week miiiiiight be a little frowned upon. However, if that place is The Establishment, it’s safe to say you’re in the clear. With its plush and sophisticated décor, the mysterious ambiance is sure to sweep any first date off their feet.

Best Place to Go with a Friend-Zone Friend

Pour Taproom – Keep that person firmly in the friend zone at this chill taproom. Choose from over 60 self-pour beer and wine taps to accompany your meal. If you haven’t tried their Southern Poutine (hand-cut fries set with white cheddar cheese curds and served with
Lowcountry tasso gravy made in-house) you haven’t lived!

Best Place Not-Downtown

The Atlantic Room - I don’t know about y’all, but I’m using ANY excuse I can to get through those shiny gates at Kiawah. Saving money at the same time makes me want to do a happy dance *insert: dancing baby in diaper GIF* Just in case you needed one more reason: That. View.

Best Waterfront Dining

Spirit Cruise Lines - It doesn’t get more waterfront than literally being ON the water. This two-and-a-half-hour dinner cruise takes you through the Charleston Harbor and includes nightly entertainment! This really is one of the best deals this Restaurant Week!
