Get Thee to ESD—Open House Wednesday Night!

Design and interiors obsessives, you gotta join me tomorrow. I'm headed over to the new ESD shop in Mount Pleasant for their Open House... if you haven't stopped in, it's in the old garden center on Coleman, that then became Aubergine (which moved to Freshfields Village near Kiawah), right before you veer off to go to the Old Village.

The party starts at 6 p.m., with cocktails and a jewelry trunk show by Rebecca Lankford Designs. Plus? They're 20% off all merchandise! Yeah, you should go.

ESD still has the shop just over the bridge in West Ashley, where 17 splits to head toward Folly Road. But they opened the new one maybe a month ago? Two months ago? It's got an open-air garden center, plus the mix of antiques and curated homegoods that makes me break out into a sweat, and I don't know where to start. See, that's how I know  a store has hit my hot list—when I don't know what to look at first, and I just turn in circles. I haven't taken home anything from this shop yet (but PLENTY of sale items over the years from their former location on King and their current one in West Ashley), but I did find this fantastic antique kilim rug while scouting for Charleston magazine's Market Report. You can find it in the November issue, on newsstands now.

So here are the details of the Open House and a few more shots of the store. See you there?
