A native of Lexington, South Carolina, JamiLynn Harrington Elrod loves traveling, new experiences and making memories. Her interest in writing formed during her time as a student at Columbia College. Elrod majored in dance there before going on to earn her graduate degree in higher education. Now a Midlands area advocate for low-income, at-risk students, she provides support services to prepare them for life after high school. Writing is a creative outlet for her to express what's on her mind — a form of therapy where no detail, thought or emotion is missed.


When she’s not wrangling her two wildings and her 70 lb lap dog, Elrod is most likely reading the latest book from #BookTok, reorganizing her house for the millionth time, or laughing uncontrollably with her impressively large family.
